Over the course of this in-person maternity leave assignment (from 08/17/2026 through 11/12/2026), you’ll have the unique opportunity to influence the lives of middle school students at a pivotal stage, all while expanding your clinical acumen and discovering new strategies for working with adolescents.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state SLP license or eligibility in Missouri
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• School-based experience highly desirable
• Passion for fostering student growth and communication skills
• Comfortable working in an in-person setting; teletherapy not offered at this time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services for middle school students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to MDT evaluations
