• Multiple shifts: day rounding 7am - 7pm, admitting, swing, nights
• Day shifts: 40 admits, 243 census; nights: 6-7 admits, 280-300 census
• Hospital-based hospitalist position
• Nocturnists provide cross coverage and respond to rapids
• No procedures required
