Customer Service Representative Insurance Agency

The CSR will support clients with policy servicing, account maintenance, and day-to-day insurance needs while building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, certificates, and coverage inquiries
• Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy updates accurately and efficiently
• Handle inbound calls, emails, and customer requests in a professional and timely manner
• Support Account Managers and Producers with administrative and service-related tasks
• Review policies and documents for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain detailed and organized client records within the agency management system
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting, policy servicing, and follow-up items
• Help ensure excellent customer retention through responsive service and relationship-building
• Stay informed on agency procedures and carrier guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous Insurance customer service and commercial experience required
• Insurance agency experience required
• Property & Casualty license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Hawksoft agency management systems
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
