Customer Service Representative

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customer accounts by managing orders, forecasts, and account communications. This role serves as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure accurate order processing, timely updates, and an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchase orders, quotations, order changes, and expedited requests.
• Monitor open orders and communicate updates, schedule changes, and delivery information to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate customer forecasts and account records.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
• Partner with sales, purchasing, production planning, and other departments to meet customer needs.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through responsive service and effective communication.
• Provide product information and pricing support using available resources.
• Assist with product returns and customer issue resolution.
• Ensure pricing, discounts, and account information remain accurate and current.
• Share important customer feedback and market information with appropriate internal stakeholders.
• Support process improvements and contribute to departmental initiatives.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
• Complete reports, documentation, and other assigned administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain an organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One to two years of customer service, inside sales, or technical support experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime when business demands require.

Additional Details:

• Primarily office-based position in a climate-controlled environment.
• Position requires prolonged sitting and frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
