Outside Sales Representative-General Tool

Job Overview Sunbelt Rentals seeks an Outside Sales Representative to develop an assigned territory, implement sales plans to grow business, maintain the current customer base, and help build the national Sunbelt branding identity. The role is responsible for generating profitable business from the range of equipment that the profit center specializes in. Responsibilities Leverage cold‑calling and closing skills to expand an existing portfolio within a high‑demand market. Develop and execute sales plans to grow business and maintain current customers. Generate profitable business from the assigned equipment portfolio. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Represent Sunbelt Rentals at events and customer sites. Qualifications 4‑year college degree in a related field with at least 1 year of related experience, OR 3‑4 years of related sales experience. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Minimum age 21. Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Solid computer skills. Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) may be preferred in some locations. Physical Demands The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as needed. Benefits Base pay range: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00.
