Lead Medical Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where you'll make a real difference in patient care while helping guide and support a dedicated clinical staff. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of medical assistants, providing guidance, training, and daily oversight Assist providers with clinical procedures, examinations, and patient care activities Manage patient flow, rooming patients, recording vital signs, and updating medical histories Administer injections, perform phlebotomy, and conduct basic diagnostic tests as directed Oversee scheduling, supply inventory, and clinical area organization to ensure smooth daily operations Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic-specific policies and procedures Serve as a point of contact between clinical staff and providers to optimize patient experience Requirements: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) credential required Minimum 2–3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in a primary care or wellness setting Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and clinical documentation Strong phlebotomy, vital signs, and clinical procedure skills Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a team-first attitude About Us: Bee Busy Wellness Center is a trusted healthcare provider in Houston, TX, committed to delivering compassionate, comprehensive wellness services to the communities we serve.
