Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, E/O weekend, E/O holiday, may float to Med/Surg as needed.

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements: MA License, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, NIHSS Certification, 2 years of RN ICU experience in multispecialty ICU (CCU/SICU/MICU/NEURO/CT), Basic computer proficiency, Telemetry experience with the ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Roles & Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education of patients. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families. Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues. Update and manage patient records accurately. Participate in quality improvement projects as needed. Follow established guidelines and policies within the nursing department.
