About the Role

Picture your day starting at 7:00am in a clean, well-organized production area in Pingree Grove, IL. You review the build sheet for a commercial floor scrubber, pull parts against the bill of materials, and begin assembling sub-systems with hand, air, and power tools. Mid-morning, you verify an electrical connection against a schematic, catch a suspect part, and flag it before it slows the line. After lunch, you test an in-process machine, record inspection data, and help a teammate troubleshoot a mechanical fit. Before 3:30pm, you print material move tickets, close out a rework order, and check with the Line Foreman for tomorrow’s priorities. That’s a typical day as our Electro-Mechanical Build Technician.

• Job Type: Contract to Hire
• Pay: $17.50 – $20.00 per hour
• Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm (occasional overtime)
• Location: Pingree Grove, IL

You’ll help build high-performance commercial and industrial cleaning equipment—auto scrubbers, vacuums, floor machines, burnishers, extractors, and sweepers—that customers rely on for durability and reliability. Your precision ensures the quality our brand is known for.

• Assemble equipment to exact specifications using documentation, prints, and bills of material.
• Inspect incoming and in-process parts; report or reject components that do not meet standards.
• Test machines during build to verify performance and quality criteria.
• Support the Line Foreman and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals.
• Accurately complete material move tickets, inspection logs, in-process and reject tags, rework orders, and corrective action reports.
• Use the company computer system to print material move tickets and complete assigned tasks.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and shop rules.

• Read and apply electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.

Earn between $1,000 and $3,000 in cash bonuses based on experience and role. The first payout occurs after one month of perfect attendance, with additional monthly payouts thereafter.
