Bookkeeper

The Bookkeeper uses the Ronin process, QuickBooks, and established accounting practices to maintain accurate financial records, establish a consistent cadence of information gathering and reporting, and provide the financial visibility needed to identify potential business problems and opportunities. Ronin Bookkeepers gain hands-on experience with accounting and finance, client service, financial systems, process improvement, and business KPIs - all while working directly with small-business clients in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities Book items in QuickBooks daily for a variety of clients Month-End activities including bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, credit card reconciliations Communicating with clients when problems or questions arise Monthly review of books with clients Cleaning up any problem areas found in books Key Attributes and Strengths Attention to detail Works well independently as well as with a team Data driven, human-centric Excellent customer service Very communicative and collaborative Embrace challenges as growth opportunities Creative problem solver Addresses tasks in a timely manner and consistently meets deadlines Organizes and prioritizes Qualifications and Skills Accounting Clerk Certificate is preferred but not required Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting Computer Skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
