The Production Integrator is an independent and capable Engineer that can lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers through the assembly process of their assigned VIT. Specific Job Duties:• This is primarily a 1st shift position but can require occasional support on alternate shifts • Raise awareness for schedule impacts • Work cross-functionally with all areas of the program to support integration of vehicle assembly • Schedule vehicle assembly with evolving priorities • Adjudicate any parts or engineering issues that arise during integration efforts • Document issues and work to resolve them with applicable stakeholders • Maintain a lessons learned database• This position is supporting the CM/CSM 5 VIT Team at KSC ATLO OrionBasic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings • Must be able to understand engineering specifications• Must be able to understand work instructions• Must be able to understand production requirements• Must be able to understand test requirements• Must be a United States citizenDesired Skills:• Excellent communications skills• Knowledge of SAP• Knowledge of 6 sigma processes • Self starter• Knowledge in aerospace processes • Experience in Microsoft Project• Minimum of 1 year of Orion experienceClearance Level: NoneOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
