Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00 | Weekend rotation required | Every other holiday | Assignments up to 26 weeks available | 4x12 schedule may be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patient populations in a fast-paced ED environment
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including telemetry, as part of routine patient assessment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient and family-centered care
• Pass a telemetry competency exam (adult and pediatric) prior to start — strict pass/fail criteria apply

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications — American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start; up to three attempts permitted under defined criteria
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Comfort working in a high-acuity environment with diverse patient populations across age groups
• Flexibility and adaptability to float assignments as needed
