Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 18:30–07:00 | Weekend rotation with every other holiday; 4x12 schedules and assignments up to 26 weeks may be available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patient populations in a fast-paced ED environment
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient and family-centered care in alignment with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification); up to three attempts permitted under defined conditions
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Background working in high-acuity emergency settings with diverse patient populations
• Comfort with floating to other units as census and staffing needs dictate
