Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend rotation required | Every other holiday | Assignments up to 26 weeks available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patient populations in a fast-paced ED environment
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient and family-centered care in alignment with departmental standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (adult and pediatric components); passing score of 80% or higher required, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms on the adult exam
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
• Comfort working with both adult and pediatric emergency populations
• Flexibility and adaptability in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency setting
