Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Mukilteo, WA Salary Range: $47,840 - $58,240 DOE Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily financial operations in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role: The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments, account reconciliation, and ledger maintenance. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to resolve discrepancies, and consistent adherence to established procedures and confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities * Process vendor payments, monitor applicable discounts, apply required sales tax, and verify federal ID numbers * Reconcile vendor accounts and corporate credit card statements; research and resolve discrepancies * Match invoices to purchase orders, verify coding and approvals, and post transactions to company ledgers * Communicate with vendors regarding account reconciliation and payment status while maintaining confidentiality This Accounts Payable Specialist role supports financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the organization.
