TEKsystems currently has a Service Desk Analyst opportunity available with one of our clients. This position will split between 2 sites which are Brooklyn Park, MN and Coon Rapids, MN. This position will sit 100% on-site between these 2 locations. This person will provide Tier I & II support for PC (hardware and operating system) users. This position provides regular and as-needed technical services to internal customers and is the primary means of interaction between users and the IT department. Looking for someone that possess the top skills below and wants to be with an organization long term.

Top Skills: 

• 3+ years of Desktop Support Experience 

• PC/OS/Software/Network troubleshooting and Printer support experience

• Experience setting up new users, editing permissions, deleting users within Active Directory

• Software installation experience (O365)

Description

Essential Job Functions

• Triage user issues and requests.

• Respond to help desk tickets, telephone calls, email, and walk-up requests for support

• Manage the tickets in the Help Desk ticketing system

• Identify, research, and resolve IT problems

• Troubleshot and maintain computer systems connected to production equipment

• Configure and deploy user hardware

• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements

• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work

• Participate in required company meetings

• Maintain an organized work area (5S)

• Participate in the Operational Excellence Program

• Complete all other work duties as assigned

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience

• Associate degree in an IT--related field or relevant work experience.

• Experience in support a technical environment in a help desk capacity

• Microsoft Office awareness (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

• Ability to prioritize and multitask

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Desirable Criteria & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IS field

• Experience with ERP, CRM, and other Business Systems

• Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
