Job Description Job Summary: The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans to enhance swallowing, cognitive, and communication functions. They lead the delivery of speech therapy services to improve patient outcomes within a skilled nursing environment. Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients' communication, speech, and swallowing abilities to establish appropriate treatment goals.
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Lead and supervise speech therapy sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, medical staff, and families to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Ensure all therapy practices meet licensure, legal, and facility policies.
- Hold a valid, unrestricted license in speech-language pathology in the state of Missouri.
- Meet educational and credentialing requirements for licensure and certification.
- Possess a CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in speech therapy, with LTC or rehab experience preferred.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Demonstrate knowledge of skilled nursing and long-term care regulations.
