Sanitation Supervisor

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and sanitation activities performed by custodial staff across multiple sites. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to ensure timely completion of cleaning duties. Conduct inspections to verify adherence to sanitation standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. Oversee industrial cleaning projects, including heavy-duty sanitation tasks in commercial or industrial settings. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage. Enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations related to sanitation and custodial work. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial services, or janitorial roles with a focus on industrial or commercial environments. Strong staff supervision and team management skills with demonstrated supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight and customer service interactions. Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management standards. Ability to lead teams in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with laundry operations or hospitality housekeeping management is a plus.
