Materials may consist of purchased parts, in process parts, or finished goods.This position is expected to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the needs of the Materials and production or other departments.Tasks will vary by work area and work assignments will change based on business demands, routine job rotations will be required to support the Safety, Quality, and Productivity Objectives.The position is expected to perform the specified job duties within the allotted time, within the quality standards and prescribed methods.Essential Job FunctionsMoves goods and material within a production environment using a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV)Loading, unloading, or moving goods and material from one location to another with a forklift or other PIVWorks on a PIV, operates warehouse computer software with moderate expertise.Education, Experience & SkillsHigh school diploma or General Equivalent Degree (GED) required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous warehouse experience is a plusAbility to obtain forklift certification6mon-1year forklift experienceHigh school diploma18 years or olderSafety trainingVehicle TrainingPhysical RequirementsAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone.
