Brown & Sharpe Screw Machine Operator: Rockford, Illinois
Our customer in Rockford, Illinois is seeking an experienced Brown & Sharpe Screw Machine Operator to join their team. We’re recruiting for a full-time, 1st shift position offering steady hours and weekly pay. As a Brown & Sharpe Screw Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining screw machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities of the Brown & Sharpe Screw Machine Operator:
- Operate Brown & Sharpe screw machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Perform machine setups, adjustments, and minor maintenance as required.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure product quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify conformance to blueprints and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding production issues or machine performance.
Brown & Sharpe Screw Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a Brown & Sharpe Screw Machine required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Dependable with strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Pay for Brown & Sharpe Screw Machine Operator: $24.00/hour.
