CLINICAL PHARMACIST (VARIED)

Position Overview The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling, teaching, and involvement with the care team for all applicable patients. The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist will fill orders for medications. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, distribute medications, counsel patients, teach staff, and collaborate with the care team to support optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm or PharmD) from an accredited institution. Minimum of two years’ experience, preferably in a hospital setting. Residency in a specialty pharmacy field desirable. Experience with automation and reporting features. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the hospital information system. Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada. Pharmacy residency and/or board certification desirable.
