You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, lead with accountability, and ensure high standards are met every day—not just during audits.What You'll DoAs the Sanitation Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of the facility sanitation program, pest management, chemical control, and food safety documentation across production and non-production areas. You'll provide leadership to sanitation teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory and Mennel food safety standards.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and overseeing facility sanitation, pest management (IPM), chemical control, and food safety programsMaintaining an everyday audit-ready facility compliant with GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI standardsProviding QRO leadership and support for food safety and IPM programs at the Newton facilityDeveloping, maintaining, and executing the Master Sanitation Schedule and blow-down schedulesDirecting sanitation team activities and establishing daily cleaning prioritiesTracking, analyzing, and reporting sanitation and departmental KPIsManaging IPM contractors and ensuring certifications, training, and documentation are currentOverseeing fumigation and fogging activities to ensure safe and effective applicationSelecting and managing sanitation chemicals, dispensing systems, equipment, and cost efficiencyMaintaining SOPs, OPLs, and sanitation documentation at point of usePartnering with Plant Management and Quality to conduct food safety risk assessments and product containmentParticipating in internal food safety audits and serving on HACCP and Food Safety TeamsTraining employees on sanitation, pest management, and chemical handling proceduresSafely operating material handling and elevated work equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts)Supervising QRO Leads and QRO Technicians across multiple sanitation and food safety crewsWhat We're Looking ForAssociate Degree required or 2–4 years of related experience (5–7 years preferred)Strong knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety standards in food manufacturingProven experience leading teams in a plant or warehouse environmentStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to diagnose and resolve sanitation and food safety issuesComfortable working cross-functionally and leading positive changeFlexible with work hours, shifting priorities, and ambiguityAction-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityWhy Join Mennel?We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and career growth:Competitive PayFlexible Accrued Paid Time Off and Holiday ScheduleHealth & Wellbeing Benefits (medical, prescription, vision, dental, HSA, company-paid short-term disability, EAP, Local YMCA cost sharing, and more)Life InsuranceProfit SharingCareer Advancement & Training OpportunitiesRewards & Recognition ProgramRetirement Contributions (401k, etc.)Tuition AssistanceReady to Make a Difference?Apply today and help Mennel continue its mission of feeding the world through safe, high-quality, and reliable operations.
