Product Lead, Agent Platform - Domain Package & Registry

Location : Seattle / Hybrid (remote optional) Travel Requirement : International travel to India required quarterly or as-needed AI Foundry is an AI building and consulting business working with some of the largest companies in the world. AI Foundry is partnered with a major global company operating across finance, consumer, and retail verticals, leading their AI efforts from the ground up. The team is seeking builders who want to be part of something massive: designing and building multi-agent AI systems that will reshape how hundreds of millions of people interact with financial services, retail, insurance, and consumer products. As Product Lead for Domain Package & Registry, you own the Domain Package as a first‑class platform capability — its schema, lifecycle, versioning, and promotion — and the contract surface between domain teams and the platform. You own the declaration side of the platform's API, data, and tool contracts: the interfaces a pack states it needs. The defining boundary of the role is that Core owns the package capability and the contract, while the verticals own the content and instances, and holding that line is what lets domain teams move fast without forking the platform. If you want to define the contract that lets every domain build on one platform without forking it, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Do Own the product vision and roadmap for the Domain Package as a platform capability. Own the package as a declarative, evolving artifact: packages reference capabilities via Registry IDs and do not contain executable runtime code — and defend that invariant. Own package lifecycle: schema, versioning, promotion, deprecation, and evolution across releases. Own the declaration of API, data, and tool contracts — the interface packs depend on — partnering with the Runtime & Execution lead, who owns the registry runtime and execution. The pack declares; the platform executes. Keep the schema expressive enough for real domains (retail returns, disputes, QC; motor insurance) without becoming a dumping ground for vertical‑specific logic. Own the Core Platform vs vertical interface, partnering with the domain/vertical product teams who produce package instances, the Authoring lead, and the Runtime lead. Set success metrics — package reuse across domains, schema stability, time‑to‑new‑domain, contract‑breakage rate — and drive the roadmap against them. Write crisp specs and decision docs, and prototype with AI‑native tools to pressure‑test the schema before committing engineering investment. Who You Are You have 7+ years of experience in product management, with real depth in owning a schema, API, or platform‑abstraction product that other teams build against. You have designed abstraction boundaries and understand versioning, backward compatibility, and how a contract evolves without breaking its consumers. You have defended a platform boundary against pressure to “just put it in the package,” and can tell platform‑general from domain‑specific. You are fluent in modern agentic AI: how workflows, tools, personas, and policies compose into a reusable package. You work well across the platformdomain seam — credible with both platform engineers and domain/vertical teams. You can hold technical authority with senior engineers and reason about schema and contract tradeoffs. You have operated from zero to scale and are comfortable defining the packaging model before there is a playbook. You set measurable success criteria and hold the roadmap to them. You are hands‑on with AI tools and make ideas tangible through prototypes and clear artifacts. You communicate with high conviction across distributed, cross‑time‑zone teams, and navigate ambiguity without losing the throughline. Strongly preferred: experience holding a platform vs. a domain boundary, and a prior API/SDK product background.
