Multi-Family Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianUnder the direction of the Maintenance Director and Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician at Reserves at Tidewater is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes and responding to customer service requests. Hourly Range: $25-27hr depending on experience + Monthly BonusMaintenance Services:Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assignedAssist with maintenance of storage area and maintenance materialsPerform refurbishing and renovation of apartments per company standardsWalk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartmentsNotify RE Manager of any safety concerns and participate in safety meetingsResponsible for knowledge of property specific problems such as asbestosAssist in snow removal as requiredPerform other duties as requiredMaintain accurate record of all tasks completedAbility to trouble shoot appliances, electrical plumbing and HVACAssist with inventories of suppliesCustomer Service:Complete all service requests in accordance with company standardsAvailable for weekend work, on-call duties, and after-hours emergency service requests, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as scheduleRequirements:High school diploma or GEDHVAC certification requiredValid Driver's LicenseAt least 1-2 years of maintenance experienceExcellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to walk the grounds and apartments, ascend stairs around the property, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders no higher than 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities such as bending, kneeling, pushingSufficient knowledge to thoroughly complete maintenance assessment up to the standards of a Service Technician IIAbility to stand for extended period of hoursEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
