Defense Litigation Paralegal

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing case files, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process, including trial preparation. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate, manage, and organize case files throughout all stages of litigation, including trial preparation. Review and organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. Conduct legal research to support case proceedings. Draft and review legal documents, including Complaints, Discovery, Motions, and more. Handle e-filing in all courts and manage case deadlines, hearings, and meetings. Categorize, interpret, and summarize information from clients, opposing counsel, and third parties. Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize high-volume work under tight deadlines. Strong knowledge of motions, electronic discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and document management software. A positive attitude and a proactive approach to getting the job done. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification strongly preferred. 5+ years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal highly desired; minimum of 4 years of experience in Business & Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation, Construction, Insurance Defense, or Professional Liability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
