Project Accountant

Job Title: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance while upholding our commitment to excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support project managers in decision-making.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and provide insights for project performance.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis for projects.
- Support audits and reviews by providing relevant financial documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project accounting.

Experience Level:
- Preferred experience level is 2 to 5 years in project accounting or a related field.

Desired Skills:
We are looking for candidates who possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and project management processes. Effective communication and collaboration are essential as you will work closely with various stakeholders. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel will be advantageous in streamlining our financial operations.
