Job OpportunityPosition: Patient Access Representative IIThis position is a temporary role with an onsite requirement during the training period. Once training is successfully completed, the role will transition to a hybrid model.Shift Timing: 5x8 hour days, between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM.The Patient Access Representative II is responsible for performing all admissions activities related to both pre-admission and face-to-face registration of patients. This includes facilitating patient access and gathering necessary demographic and financial registration information.Key Responsibilities:Perform registration and pre-registration for patients presenting to admissions and outpatient areas.Verify government and non-government insurance eligibility.Process Workers' Compensation eligibility and secure cash deposits, including co-pays and deductibles.Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and customers.Interact with patients and their families with sensitivity and attention to their needs.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED is required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in Patient Access or Revenue Cycle roles, physician offices, or healthcare insurance companies.Proficient in EPIC; experience with scheduling in EPIC is mandatory.Experience in answering multi-line and high-volume calls in a healthcare call center environment.Job Requirements:Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain high attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.Location:This position is based in a city in the state of your choice.
