This role involves patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and ensuring a smooth patient experience within an outpatient clinical setting.Responsibilities:Serve as the primary contact for patient interactions (in-person and phone)Greet patients and address concerns, escalating when necessaryPerform patient check-in and check-out processesCollect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile paymentsVerify and update patient demographics and insurance details in CS-Link/EpicSchedule appointments and manage patient registrationsProcess and track referrals and insurance authorizationsManage communication between patients and healthcare providersExplain policies, procedures, and services clearly to patientsMaintain a clean and sanitized workspace per department guidelinesRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMandatory flu vaccination (no exemptions)Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical officeExperience with medical insurance, referrals, and benefit plansStrong ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructionsPreferred Qualifications2+ years of experience as a Patient Service RepresentativeExperience with CS-Link/Epic systemsKnowledge of medical terminology
