Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Every other weekend required

Summary:
Responsible for patient relations, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and handling referrals and authorizations in a medical office setting.

Summary:
Responsible for patient relations, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and handling referrals and authorizations in a medical office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for patient relations in person and by phone.
- Greet patients and assist in resolving concerns and escalating as appropriate.
- Check patients in/out, collect co-payments, give receipts, and reconcile payments.
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic.
- Schedule appointments and complete patient registration.
- Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
- Handle patient/provider correspondence.
- Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients.
- Sanitize workspace following department guidelines.
- SD/GED.
- Flu vaccination (no exceptions/no declinations).
- Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans.
- 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting.
- Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions.
- Preferred: 2+ years' experience as Patient Service Representative.
- Preferred: Experience with CS-Link/Epic.
- Preferred: Understanding of medical terminology.
