Kitchen Lead — Night Shift | $20–$22/hour Sloopy's Diner — Columbus, OH (on the Ohio State campus) Sloopy's Diner is hiring an experienced Kitchen Lead for our night shift. This is a hands-on cooking position for someone who can run a station and hold the line through close. We're an independently operated restaurant located on the Ohio State campus — not affiliated with or employed by the university. Expect steady volume through dinner and late nights. Schedule: 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM. Nights and weekends required. Full-time hours with a consistent weekly schedule. Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour based on experience. Responsibilities Run the kitchen from the dinner rush through close Cook on grill, flat top, and fryer Keep ticket times tight without losing quality Direct the night crew through the rush Handle prep, stocking, and setup for the next shift Maintain food safety, temperature, and cleanliness standards Close and break down the kitchen each night Requirements Previous kitchen experience — able to work a station without training Comfortable running multiple tickets during a rush Dependable attendance and punctuality Willing to help with prep or dish as the shift requires Food handler's card, or willing to obtain one What we offer Consistent hours and a set schedule Shift meals Real say in how the night shift runs Opportunity to grow as the company opens additional locations Sloopy's Diner is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Athenian Grill - North Locust Hill
