Physical Therapist Assistant Job Location: East Stroudsburg, PA and surrounding areas. Our Physical Therapist Assistants see patients in the most ideal setting - the patient's home! Shift(s): Part-time positions available to flex a schedule 3 days weekly. Our office is located in Dunmore, PA. At Traditional, we do our best to keep each PTA's case load within a sensible geographic territory. Responsibilities In accordance with PT established Care Plan, provide therapeutic treatment modalities and implement home Physical Therapy including strengthening and ROM exercise, balance, gait, transfer training. Provide instruction to patients on topics such as home exercise, home safety, incision care, and medications to achieve patient goals. Maintain communication with ordering providers, clinical team, and especially to primary PT to promote progress toward goals or seek direction when needed. Participate in quality improvement activities as assigned. Timely and accurately document (EMR) all patient assessments, interactions, etc. Requirements Must possess a current, valid Pennsylvania PTA license and have current CPR certification. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to case assignments. Must be comfortable working in home setting. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
