ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greeting and assisting customers that come into the store day‑to‑day. Maintain working knowledge of inventory, vehicle fitments, type of tires, etc. Assist customers in finding in‑stock wheel and/or tire packages for their vehicle. Compile quote sheets for customers. Responsible for going over quote booklets with customers before Accounts Management assists with full agreement contract. Inform customers of payment options and program details including referral, warranty, and SAC information. Process warranty claims for customers. Place numerous phone calls to draw in new or previous customers. Assist in keeping inventory properly tagged and itemized. Educate customers on proper wheel and tire care. Responsible for keeping floor properly stocked. Maintain a clean and stocked showroom. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

COMPETENCIES

Previous experience in customer service, account executive, sales representative, and account manager. Strong communication skills. Strategic planning abilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely while demonstrating active listening skills. Ability to speak professionally and effectively to potential customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, decimals, and percentages to calculate taxes and sales receipts.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Knowledge of industry standard software.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to multi‑task at a high level. Must be able to prospect new customers through varied channels. Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, grasping with hands, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 30 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The duties of this position are performed in an office environment under temperature‑controlled conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
