A polished and professional commercial real estate company near Torrey Pines is looking for a Sr Property Staff Accountant to join their team. This person will be assisting with account reconciliation, general ledger input, year end close, and generating analysis reports. The perfect person will have over three years of experience, Yardi knowledge and exceptional communication skills. Commercial Real Estate experience is a huge plus! Apply below for consideration!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Performing GL and account reconciliation and analysis.
• Use accounting systems in place according to procedures and assist in the development and continuous improvement of such procedures.
• Assist with preparation for year-end close, lender reporting and other special projects as needed.
• Maintain various accounting schedules (prepaids, accruals, intercompany activity, liabilities).
• Assist with wire transfers
• Assist with setting up bank accounts
• Set up new entities and tenants
• Process accounts receivable and property taxes
• Other duties as assigned 

Education and Experience Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in accounting or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and/or finance.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Computer knowledge: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Eagerness to adapt and grow in an entrepreneurial environment. 
• MUST have Yardi experience
• Construction or  commercial real estate industry experience preferred
