Practice Manager III

Practice Manager III Cardiology Clinic of San Antonio – 4411 Medical Drive Ste #300, San Antonio, TX 78229 This position is incentive eligible. Duties and Responsibilities Direct and supervise the day‑to‑day functions of the clinic in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Carry out all established policies and procedures. Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct the clinic’s programs and activities. Implement written policies and procedures governing operations. Conduct performance evaluations for staff positions. Interpret the practice’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, and government agencies as necessary. Review policies and procedures annually, recommending updates to ensure compliance with current regulations. Consult with market managers, practice supervisors and staff on practice operations, problem solving, and service improvement. Prepare written and oral reports and recommendations to leadership on clinic operations. Maintain liaison with patients and ensure public information describing services is accurate and detailed. Develop and implement plans of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections. Conduct routine inspections to ensure policies and procedures are followed. Maintain a public relations program that benefits the practice and community. Build excellent working relationships with medical professionals, providers, and other health facilities. Create a healthy work environment by setting the tone and atmosphere of the practice. Exercise administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability over market/division activities and programs. Develop and maintain the practice budget. Recruit, interview, select, and hire practice personnel, supervisors, and staff. Review and assess workforce competence, making necessary adjustments as directed by leadership. Ensure adequate staffing with appropriately trained professionals at all times. Adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy, Mission and Value Statement. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
