Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting I

Job Overview Join BNY’s Hedge Fund Accounting team as an Associate, based in Lake Mary, FL. This role requires a presence 4 days per week and focuses on supporting accounting services for clients and funds. Responsibilities Assist in conducting accounting services for assigned clients and funds, including creating Service Improvement plans and optimizing processes. Perform routine fund/client accounting tasks under supervision, such as cash and asset reconciliations. Reconcile account expenses, ensure correct allocation, and escalates complex transactions to senior team members. Prepare initial draft of performance reports for clients. Respond to client inquiries regarding fund reports and accounting processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience. 0‑3 years of total work experience, preferred; accounting experience is a plus. No direct reports; some geographic locations may require people‑management duties.
