Job Description
Title: Operating Room Nurse - Surgical Services

Schedule: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours

Requirements:
- Active New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate
- 2+ years of current Operating Room experience
- Float experience to vascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, robotic surgery, urology, and ENT
- Travel experience
- EPIC experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Scrub and circulate experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Permanent address matching identification required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide surgical patient care through assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
- Educate patients pre and post-operatively.
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout the surgical care continuum.
- Integrate and coordinate patient care across various surgical specialties.

Compliance / Notes:
- Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
- RTO requests must be noted and verified at upload; no changes will be accepted post-upload.
- Compliance with COVID vaccination recommendations is encouraged but not mandatory.
