IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer (Athens) We are currently seeking to hire an IT Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be based at the premises of one of our clients in Athens, providing day‑to‑day support to the client’s personnel. The role will be carried out on‑site at the client’s location, but the candidate will be officially employed by Athens Technology Center (ATC) and will report directly to ATC. Responsibilities Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, and peripherals Maintaining workstations, networks, and peripherals Setting up accounts and workstations Providing technical support and troubleshooting to end‑users over the phone, email, or in‑person Collaborating with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement new projects and solve complex problems Creating and updating technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials Requirements Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification 2+ years of experience in a related role Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory Good knowledge of networking Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written Familiarity with reporting tools and ticketing systems Personal Skills Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users Strong interpersonal skills Teamwork spirit and collaboration Benefits Competitive compensation package Private health coverage Opportunity to work across diverse scientific areas and explore various topics Tailored training programme and access to cutting‑edge skills Friendly, pleasant, and creative working environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
