Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design individualized therapy approaches to help them reach their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to promote enhancements in motor skills, cognitive function, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a patient's needs
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach caregivers and families effective therapy methods to encourage ongoing recovery and support at home
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust therapy plans as necessary to ensure maximum benefit for patients

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
