Work Environment

The position is based onsite, focusing primarily on home care environments where we deliver targeted therapy programs. Here, you will implement your skills in varied settings, engaging directly with patients to foster recovery. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a schedule that facilitates work-life balance while allowing you to dedicate quality time to your patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Ability Physical Therapy & Wellness, you will engage in the following essential duties:

• Deliver individualized, one-on-one therapy sessions, focusing on 1-2 patients per hour to ensure personalized attention and care.
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and craft customized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Utilize a combination of active therapy techniques, hands-on interventions, and educational strategies to enhance patient understanding and engagement in their recovery process.
• Regularly measure patient progress, adjusting therapy plans based on outcomes to optimize recovery timelines and efficacy.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and professionally, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or rebuilding strength after injuries. You will work closely with patients ranging from athletes to post-operative individuals, each with unique therapeutic needs. Your role will be fundamental in creating pathways for improved quality of life and mobility.

Qualifications

To be considered for this pivotal role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida PT license that is currently active and in good standing.
• At least two years of demonstrated experience in an outpatient therapy setting, showcasing your proficiency in assessing and treating patients effectively.

Preferred Experience
