TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Roanoke, Virginia, 24014!

Job Title: RN Neuro PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PCU Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PCU setting, with neuro experience preferred. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required. Description: RN position in the Neuro PCU. Shifts available are three 12-hour shifts. Candidates must have neuro experience to be considered. Charting is done using EPIC systems. Weekend requirements may include every other weekend or six weekends within a scheduling block. All scheduling requests must be included with the submission. Facility can call off one shift per two weeks. Candidates must work one holiday per 13-week contract. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates must follow radius criteria. Pending licenses are accepted if the candidate holds a license from a non-compact state. Travel experience is preferred. Patient population includes adult patients with neurological conditions. The unit features continuous epilepsy monitoring capabilities. Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring and emergency response. Skills include IV therapy, phlebotomy, medication administration, and respiratory support. Travelers may float to other units within their clinical skillset. Unit includes interdisciplinary support services. Special patient diagnoses include neurosurgery, stroke management, and medical overflow.
