School Social Worker – Full-Time School Position | Fountain, Colorado | 2026–2027 School Year

Seeking a qualified  School Social Worker for a  full-time school-based position in Colorado for the 2026–2027 school year . This onsite opportunity supports  two elementary schools and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by helping students achieve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• School Year: 2026–2027
• Setting: Two Elementary Schools
• Caseload: Approximately 45 students across two school sites
• Pay: $40.33–$50.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement services that support student needs, learning, and progress toward academic and behavioral goals.
• Provide social-emotional support and interventions for students with diverse needs and abilities.
• Adapt services to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
• Ensure students are appropriately supervised and supported throughout the school day.
• Establish and communicate high expectations while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills.
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal policies regarding the health, safety, welfare, and education of students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Social Worker credential or the ability to obtain one before the start of the assignment.
• All required licenses and credentials to practice as a School Social Worker in Colorado.
• Previous school-based experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
