This is a hands-on role where you'll be the critical link between our customers and our technical solutions for plastic resin handling equipment, ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint. Responsibilities: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers in person, by phone, and via email Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance Conduct on-site service calls and installations at customer facilities Document service activities, maintenance records, and customer interactions accurately Collaborate with internal engineering and sales teams to resolve complex technical issues Train customers on proper equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and elevate unresolved issues appropriately Requirements: Associate's degree or technical certification in Electro-mechanics or a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in a technical service, field service, or customer support role Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Proficiency with service management software and basic computer applications Willingness to travel locally for on-site customer service visits as needed About Us: MOTAN INC is a trusted name in material handling solutions for plastic processors including conveying, drying, blending, storage, and controls/automation.
