You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.ResponsibilitiesManages the change management process effectively under the direction of the Project ManagerServes as a key player in monthly cost report meetings and contributes with meaningful data/talking pointsAdheres to the project controls procedures to include monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting successfullyExpedites material deliveries effectivelyReviews and evaluates shop drawings accuratelyEncourages others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to problems and opportunities continuallyDevelops business through identifying client needs, identifying Gilbane opportunity matches, and communicating the value and differentiation of Gilbane to prospective clientsReviews customer feedback proactively, builds a customer centric mentality within teams, and demonstrates knowledge of different market sectors and delivery systems to ensure positive customer relationsCoaches and mentors less experienced team membersSupports a positive and inclusive work environmentQualifications EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organizationOr equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong verbal and written skillsAbility to work in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office programsProven capability to establish specific measurable, attainable performance goals and hold others accountable for achieving themDemonstrated ability to build active team participation, team trust and strengthen positive interactionsAbility to articulate financial knowledge and customer satisfaction awareness of how the company makes a profitDemonstrated ability to adapt personal communication style to suit the target audience and situation including highly effective presentations, clear and concise writing on complex and sensitive topics, and understanding through paraphrasing and use of relevant examplesFinancial management familiarityOSHA 30-hour certificationMEP knowledgeUnderstanding of contract documents & specificationsProficient in ProcoreExpertise in CMiC preferredSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.For Connecticut, this ranges from $84,000.00-$116,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
