State Licensed Underwriting Manager

Supporting the underwriting department remotely, the full-time salaried Regional Underwriting Manager will manage day-to-day operations, provide coaching and training to Underwriters, and ensure service level agreements are met while assisting with escalated loan-level questions. Key responsibilities Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Underwriters on processes and guidelines Serve as the primary point of contact for Underwriters regarding questions and clarifications Manage the underwriting pipeline to ensure compliance with service level agreements Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience DE, SAR, and LAPP certifications required; USDA experience is a plus 5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting experience with agency guideline knowledge 5+ years of underwriting supervisory experience Proficient in Encompass LOS and Microsoft Office Suite
