Performance Company Lead and Dance Instructor - Longmont, CO

About the Position Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced Performance Company Lead and Dance Instructor to inspire and nurture the next generation of students at Production Company Dance Centre in Longmont, CO. The role includes leading a community-focused performance program where dancers learn one routine in the fall and one in the spring, perform at local venues and community events, and participate in parades. Responsibilities and Expectations Lead the Performance Company program, delivering engaging, in-person lessons. Teach rehearsals and performances as part of community and parade engagements. Choreograph, clean, and rehearse routines independently. Communicate with community venues and clients regarding performances. Work with dancers across a wide range of skill levels (beginner through teen). Provide music editing and cutting for performances. Qualifications High-energy and engaging with kids of all ages. Organized, responsible, and comfortable communicating with community venues and clients. Ability to choreograph, clean, and rehearse routines independently. Comfortable working with a wide range of skill levels. Experience in music editing and cutting. Experience with dance team or poms is a plus. Class Schedule (Sample) Schedule includes Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and summer months. Tuesdays: 5:15–6:00 PM – Hip Hop Foundations (ages 5–6); 6:45–7:15 PM – Performance Company (Seniors, 12+); 7:45–8:15 PM – Performance Company (Juniors, 8–11). Breaks between classes could allow for private lessons, though not guaranteed. Wednesdays: 4:30–5:15 PM – Acro Foundations; 5:30–6:00 PM – Performance Company (Minis, ages 5–7); 6:00–7:00 PM – Ballet & Jazz I (ages 5–6). Thursdays: 6:45–7:45 PM – Poms class (Age 10+). Summer Mondays, 5:00–7:15 PM (June 22 – August 1). Full season begins August 17 and runs through June 2027; the instructor must commit for the entire season.
