Sr. Project Manager - Software PMO
Intuitive Surgical
Senior program manager role overseeing complex, cross-functional software development programs within Intuitive's Digital organization. The position requires delivering integrated medical technology products through all lifecycle phases while managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment across business units.
Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional development programs across business units, delivering against committed timelines and quality standards
- Perform risk analysis, develop contingency plans, and drive prioritization tradeoff decisions with data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on status, dependencies, and execution across products
- Drive discipline in requirements analysis, design, development, and testing through effective phase gates
- Serve as primary stakeholder contact and contribute to ongoing improvements in project management processes
Requirements
- 8+ years program/project management experience with bachelor's degree (or 6+ years with master's)
- Demonstrated leadership delivering software products at scale across full product lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, manufacturing, quality control, and design controls
- Experience developing and commercializing medical devices or regulated technology products
- Ability to influence across organizational levels and resolve conflicts effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all audience levels
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification desired
