About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Litigation to establish and oversee a top-tier enterprise litigation function. This pivotal role is focused on the strategic management and resolution of a wide range of legal matters, including commercial and contract disputes, antitrust and competition-related issues, securities and shareholder litigation, employment disputes, and government investigations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the global strategy in these areas, building scalable operating models, and providing expert legal advice to the senior leadership and the Board of Directors. The role demands a leader with a strong background in litigation, excellent judgment, and the ability to translate complex legal risks into practical business guidance. Applicants for this role at the company should have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, with at least 15 years' of post-JD experience in complex litigation and investigations. The ideal candidate will have a mix of experience in both leading law firms and in-house at a public company, preferably in a highly regulated industry. Deep expertise in a variety of legal matters, including antitrust and competition law, is essential. The role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of managing outside counsel and vendors, and driving continuous improvement in litigation operations. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills are a must, as is a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
