Job Title: Production Worker - Norwalk Job Description

We are seeking diligent candidates to work in our manufacturing environment, creating quality windows and patio doors. All candidates will be cross-trained in multiple areas within the facility.

• Operate vinyl casement, ND classic, and ND production machines during 1st shift.
• Participate in the assembly and packaging of windows and patio doors.
• Perform general labor tasks as required.
• Maintain a solid attendance record and adhere to safety protocols.

• Minimum 6 months experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
• Comfortable lifting 50lbs.
• High attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
• Willingness to ask questions when unsure.
• Adaptable to cross-training in multiple areas.

• Nice to have skills include experience with tape measure, construction, and hands-on manufacturing.
• Ability to speak English, whether as a primary or secondary language.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience is required.

Our 1st shift runs from 6am-2:30pm, five days a week, with current hours ranging from 32-40 per week. Prepare for busy seasons with 50-hour work weeks and a requirement to work two Saturdays a month. The manufacturing environment operates across three facilities, which are not temperature-controlled. The team size averages around 100 employees per facility. Dress code requires work-appropriate shirts, jeans or shorts, and mandatory steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norwalk, IA.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Norwalk,IA.
