This position operates within a fully remote environment, offering the flexibility to work from your preferred location. Our Hospice Center collaboration allows counselors to provide services to individuals in hospice care, usually those with pre-screened, stable mental health concerns. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough remote assessments and evaluations to establish a comprehensive understanding of clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual therapy sessions through teletherapy, utilizing evidence-based modalities to effectively address varying client concerns and emotional challenges.

• Collaborate closely with clients to define therapeutic goals, monitor their progress throughout the treatment process, and adjust those goals as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.

• Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, training, and peer consultation to enhance clinical skills and stay current with industry practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with have been pre-screened for stability and generally present low acuity concerns, allowing you to focus on therapeutic methodologies rather than crisis intervention. This environment fosters a therapeutic alliance and provides the opportunity to address long-term mental health goals rather than immediate crisis management.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• An active clinical license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is required. Note that we are unable to consider interns or applicants with limited permits that require supervision.

• Demonstrated independence in case management, scheduling sessions, and establishing rapport with clients, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have a clean licensing record with absolutely no disciplinary actions.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years’ experience providing mental health counseling in a professional setting.

• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and virtual counseling practices.

• Experience working with clients in hospice or end-of-life care settings is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

As a full-time counselor working with Humanistic Counseling, LLC, you can expect a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 , commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
