Description:
Inpatient psychiatrist needed for a 14-bed unit.
Will be the sole physician on the unit.
Responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to hospitalized patients.
Will manage a caseload of patients with a range of psychiatric conditions.
Must be able to cover 1-2 weekends per month.
Will also take at least one weeknight of phone call coverage.
Collaborate with 1 or 2 nurse practitioners for patient care.
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is required.
Ideal candidates should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
