Want to join our founding Miami team as  Head of New Business and play a leading role in Hyve's growth in the market, attracting some of the world’s biggest brands and shaping the future of our business? 

This is more than a sales leadership role—it’s your opportunity to build something from the ground up. You’ll lead the New Business function in Miami, building a high-performing Business Development team, driving enterprise partnerships and accelerating customer acquisition across our market-leading events portfolio.

Collaborating with our Enterprise Business Development Directors, Event Directors, Marketing and Content teams, you’ll help B2B brands grow through exhibition, sponsorship, media and integrated marketing solutions across Hyve's market-leading events.

As part of your role, you'll: 

• Own and deliver ambitious new business revenue targets through strong pipeline management, forecasting and commercial execution. 
• Represent Hyve at industry events, building relationships that create new business opportunities.
• Develop and execute the new business strategy to drive customer acquisition and portfolio growth. 
• Recruit, develop and retain top sales talent, while confidently managing performance and making tough people decisions when needed.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Business Development Managers, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. 
• Partner with Event Directors, Marketing, Content and Operations to identify new commercial opportunities and maximize growth. 
• Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to continuously refine your strategy. 

 
What we're looking for 
You'll bring: 

• 7+ years' experience leading high-performing B2B sales or new business teams.
• A genuine hunter mentality with experience generating new business through outbound prospecting rather than managing existing customer portfolios.
• Significant enterprise B2B sales experience with a proven track record of winning new business, managing complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles and consistently delivering ambitious revenue targets.
• Strong commercial leadership experience, including coaching teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use sales metrics, KPIs and performance data to drive commercial decisions.
• Exceptional commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence engaging C-suite executives and senior decision-makers within enterprise organizations.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as required(up to 60%)to meet customers and attend industry events.

 
Nice to have 

• Experience within exhibitions, conferences, events, media or B2B marketing.
• Experience selling sponsorship, exhibition, media, partnership or integrated marketing solutions.
• Knowledge of the global events industry and competitive event landscape.
• Experience selling into enterprise organizations across sectors such as retail, technology, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing or energy.

 
Benefits 

• Competitive base salary of $140,000– $165,000 (depending on experience)
